The last day of October a bit too chilly for autumn, fallen leaves on the streets and the endlessly open sky… in these bits of lightness and pieces of melancholy, how are you spending the remaining days of sunshine?

Music For One Foundation is running the Ari Concert in our intimate office space enclosing the performers and the audience alike together. The concert series that was previously held in galleries and Bukchon Hanok Village is now re-launched in our office as Ari @ Tiny Office.

The first concert in the office was on Saturday, October 31, with pianists Esther Kim and Kyung Ah Noh who played a program titled “Fantasie to Tango, Knock-in of Autumn.”

This four hands piano concert presented Fantastie in F Minor D940 by Franz Schubert, which piece was popularized in a scene from a TV drama starring Hee-Ae Kim and Ah-in Yoo, Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms, and Libertango by Astor Piazzolla.

Ms. Esther Kim introduced each piece with a note for the audience on what to listen for in each particular piece of distinct styles as to render the classical music a little more accessible and enjoyable. As such, the hour-long concert seemed like a blink. After the concert, prepared hors d’oeuvres and wine made for further great time for everyone.

The night was a bit chilly but the music-drenched crowd still lingered on the outdoor terrace during the evening, exchanging greetings and taking selfies. That Saturday night in Bukchon was warm and cozy.

Thank you to the wonderful performers Esther Kim and Kyung Ah Noh, the sponsors DS Dental Clinic (http://www.facebook.com/drsungdentalclinic)  and Soo-Yeon Kim, and everyone who attended the concert to make the evening memorable.
